Why we are called Ajjimane
In Kannada, ಅಜ್ಜಿ (ajji) means grandmother and ಮನೆ (mane) means house. Ajjimane is a grandmother’s house: the kitchen where idly and dosa batter was made the slow, traditional way, and where the family gathered around the plate.
That is the taste we aim for. The pack says a taste of Mysore heritage, and the film ends on the same line: made with love.
Ajjimane is a brand of RK Food Industries, based in Vidyaranyapura, Bengaluru. We began in October 2024.
